| I made
the recordings about 1996 via playback
procedure. Dark Night, Dark Sun and Magic Castle with an old Fostex 4 track cassette deck, the other songs with a Korg Harddisk recorder. Main deficiency is my "drums application", partially a drum computer with steady patterns, partially as last track (!) taken up with a keyboard. I know the fact that the percussion should be taken up first, but I have started just with pleasure with vocal and guitar. The text of Angel is very short. I visited an old-linguistic Gym with a lot of Latin and Greek and English was represented only a little bit. My singing... to get a good voice full of pressure you must practice exercises in reasonable volume and this is impossible in my flat, i have there enough stress because of my students. In the end in spite of all a little own praise, in Dark Sun I like both solos, in Magic Castle the sombre whole mood of the song and in Angel the increase of the restrained start untill the stormy end. Also the guitars in the background are O.K. |
